Minuit isn’t applying to a page

Click the Minuit icon: the state of the page is shown under its address.

“Reload the page to apply Minuit”: the tab was open before Minuit was installed. Reload it.
“Chrome doesn’t allow changing this page”: Chrome’s internal pages (chrome://), the Chrome Web Store and the PDF viewer are off limits to every extension.
“Disabled on this site”: choose Auto or Force in the popup, or press Alt+Shift+D (⌥⇧D on Mac).
“Minuit is paused”: turn the switch at the top right of the popup back on.
“Waiting for the system dark mode”: the Follow system appearance option is on and your computer is in light mode.
Files opened from your own computer (file://): open chrome://extensions, click Details under Minuit and turn on Allow access to file URLs.

“This site is already dark”: Minuit leaves sites that have their own dark theme alone. Choose Force to darken it anyway, or turn off Respect sites that are already dark for every site.
Logos or icons stay light: Minuit recolors the styles of a page, not its images.
A site is unreadable or broken: choose Disable for that site, then send us its address. Every report helps make Minuit better.

Alt+Shift+D (⌥⇧D on Mac) turns Minuit on or off on the site you are reading. You can change it in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Activate Pro: click the Minuit icon, then Activate Pro, paste the key you received by email and confirm.
The key never arrived: it comes a few minutes after the payment, from noreply@mail.soliloquie.io. Look in your spam folder, then write to us from the address you bought with.
“This key isn’t valid”: copy the whole key, on both sides of the dot. Spaces and line breaks don’t matter.
On another computer or browser: paste the same key. It activates in up to 3 browsers; each browser profile counts as one (two profiles in Arc or Chrome, for instance).
“This key is already active in 3 browsers”: all three slots are taken, after a new computer or a reinstall for instance. Write to us from the address you bought with and we will free them.
“Can’t reach the license server”: activating needs an internet connection. After that, Minuit Pro works offline too.
Lost key: look for the email titled “Your Minuit Pro license key”, or write to us from the address you bought with.
