Privacy policy

The controller for the data described here is Soliloquie OÜ, the publisher of Minuit, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia (Estonian business register: 17383137). Contact: support@soliloquie.io.

The extension

The Minuit extension sends nothing about the pages you visit, to us or to third parties. It contains no analytics and no advertising.

• Your settings are stored in your browser. If Chrome sync is on, Google synchronizes them across your devices. Your license key, for its part, stays in each browser where you activated it.
• With Minuit Pro, the extension sends our server your license key (which contains your email address) and a random identifier specific to that installation of Minuit: when you activate the key, then once a day. They serve only to check that the key is not active in more than 3 browsers and that it has not been refunded (legal basis: performance of the contract). Without a license, the extension never contacts our servers.
• To read a site’s stylesheets, the extension may download them from the site you are visiting, without cookies. Those requests never pass through us.

Purchases

The payment is handled by Paddle.com, our reseller, which acts as a controller for payment and billing data. We never have access to your card details. See Paddle’s privacy policy.

After a purchase, Paddle passes us your email address and the details of the order. We use them only to send you your license key and to answer your requests (legal basis: performance of the contract). Your email address is written into the license key itself.

The email containing the key is sent by our provider Resend. We never send you marketing email.

This site

This site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tool. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical logs (IP address, pages requested) to keep it running and secure. When you open the checkout, Paddle may set the cookies the transaction needs.

How long we keep it

For each license, we keep the buyer’s email address, the Paddle order identifier, the identifiers of the installations where the license is active and, where applicable, the date it was refunded. This data is hosted by Cloudflare and kept for as long as the license exists; you can ask for it to be deleted at support@soliloquie.io, which deactivates the license. Order data is kept by Paddle for as long as its legal and accounting obligations require. The emails you send us are kept for as long as it takes to handle your request.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to support@soliloquie.io. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL) or with the Estonian authority, the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.
